    Jadranka Stanišić was born in Prijedor on June 12, 1959. years. She completed elementary school and high school in Banja Luka, and graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka in 1982.

    After completing her internship, which she spent in the District Court in Banja Luka as a judicial trainee from 1985 to 1986, she passed the bar exam in 1986. In the period from 1986 to 1988, she worked in the Municipal Administration for Geodetic Affairs and Real Estate Cadastre of the Municipality of Banjaluka. After that, in 1988 to be precise, she was elected as a senior expert associate of the High Court in Banja Luka, where she worked until 1992.

    She was then elected as a judge of the Basic Court in Banja Luka in 1992 and held that position until 1997, when she was elected as a judge of the District Court in Banja Luka. She worked as a judge of the District Court in Banja Luka until 2007, when she was elected as a judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Srpska, in which position she is still today. In addition to her professional work, for many years she was an educator of judges at the Center for Education of the Republika Srpska and held numerous seminars in that capacity. As a member of the Commission for Drafting the Law on Civil Procedure, she participated in the reform of the new civil procedural legislation and held numerous seminars as part of that project, and in 2002 she stayed in the USA where she was educated in drafting laws.

    He is the co-author of the book Commentary on the Law on Civil Procedure in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska, the first edition published in 2005 and the second edition published in 2011, and the author of numerous expert articles on civil law.

    In September 2019, she was elected as a member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH from among the judges of the Supreme Court of Republika Srpska.
