The Secretariat currently employs 83 permanent staff members, enabling the Secretariat to effectively discharge its functions under the law. The civil servants in the Secretariat are appointed and removed by the Director, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Civil Service in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The staff of the Secretariat other than civil servants are appointed and removed by the Director, in accordance with the legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina governing labour relations.
