HJPCBiH appointed judicial office holders
In the course of first day of the meeting held on 30 and 31 of March 2010 in Sarajevo, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council BiH (HJPCBiH) delivered decisions on appointments of judicial office holders in BiH.
During selection of prosecutors at the Prosecutor's Office BiH, territorial representation was taken into consideration whereby four candidates from Republiuka Srpska were selected. Selected to the Prosecutor's Office are as follows:
- Oleg Čavka, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Dragan Čorlija, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Omerović Dika, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Sarajlić Saša, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Remzija Smailagić, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Dragica Glušac, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Ozrenka Nešković, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH.
In the same Prosecutor's Office, with two-year tour of duty, the following international prosecutors have been appointed:
- Michael Hartman, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Erik Larson, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH;
- Rut Ley, prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH.
For Republika Srpska region the following judges and prosecutors have been appointed:
- Milorad Novković, president of the District Court Banja Luka;
- Senaid Ibrahimefendić, president of the District Court Eastern Sarajevo;
- Duško Ninković, president of the District Court Doboj;
- Radomir Aleksić, president of the District Court Bijeljina;
- Bojan Stević, president of the District Court Trebinje;
- Radmila Stančić, president of the District Court Doboju;
- Binamir Subašić, judge at the Magistrate Court in Bijeljina;
- Mediha Ćosić, judge at the Magistrate Court in Bijeljina;
- Zlatna Martinović, judge at the Magistrate Court in Bijeljina;
- Šefket Ćatović, judge at the Magistrate Court in Sokolac;
- Veltekin Bosović, judge at the Magistrate Court in Sokolac;
- Jelena Cerović-Bojović, judge at the Magistrate Court in Sokolac;
- Sonja Avlijaš, assistant judge at the Magistrate Court in Sokolac;
- Milena Đekanović, assistant judge at the Magistrate Court in Teslić;
- Gordana Šalvarica, deputy chief prosecutor at the District Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje.
At the meeting, appointments for positions in FbiH have also been made as follows:
- Mladen Jurišić, president of the Cantonal Court in Mostar;
- Zijada Alihodžić, president of the Cantonal Court in Zenica;
- Dragica Šimić, president of the Cantonal Court in Široki Brijeg;
- Stojan Tojčić, judge at the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo;
- Nejra Dupovac, judge at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo;
- Lejla Konjić, judge at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo;
- Ivana Krželj, judge at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo;
- Lejla Fadilpašić-Konjhodžić, judge at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo.
Since from 1 of May 2010, commercial courts will start with work in Republika Srpska, appointments at these courts are as follows:
- Bogdan Gajić, president of the Higher Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Mirjana Raosavljević, judge at the Higher Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Branka Skoko, judge at the Higher Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Drago Turkeš, judge at the Higher Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Snježana Romčević - Tadić, judge at the Higher Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Lejla Kosić, president of the District Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Staša Tomić, judge at the District Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Jelena Božić, judge at the District Commercial Court in Banja Luka;
- Ana Tomić-Ignjatić, judge at the District Commercial Court in Banja Luka;

- Nada Arsenić, judge at the District Commercial Court in Doboj;
- Smajil Begović, president of the District Commercial Court in Trebinje;
- Danica Vojinović, judge at the District Commercial Court in Trebinje;
- Aida Šain, president of the District Commercial Court in Eastern Sarajevo;
- Samra Akova, judge at the District Commercial Court in Eastern Sarajevo;
- Almina Oruč, judge at the District Commercial Court in Eastern Sarajevo
- Dragan Borovčanin, judge at the District Commercial Court in Eastern Sarajevo.
At the time the HJPCBiH delivered Decision on Appointments, criteria such as: relevant skills, working experience and work performance; expert knowledge based on career results so far; capacity to conduct his/her duties within the position he/she is applying for impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly; relationship with colleagues, conduct outside place of work, professional impartiality, respect and experience at leading positions.
Appointed president of commercial courts including incumbent president of the District Commercial Court in Bijeljina will assume their duties on the 1 April 2010, judges appointed to commercial courts 1 May 2010 while other judicial office holders with assume their duties on 15 April 2010.
